Setting modem Nokia 2115i/2116 CDMA

Phone Software

Hardware :

1. Nokia 2115i/2116 CDMA

2. CA-42 or DKU 5 Cable

3. SIM Card Hand phone

4. PC or notebook Pentium 3 or above

Software :

1. CA-42 or DKU 5 Cable Driver

2. Nokia 2115i/2116 CDMA Modem Driver

Please insert CD Driver from 1. CA-42 or DKU 5 Cable , usually when your insert this CD , CD will install Nokia PC switch automatically. You can install it but I not recommended it for you because it will be eat you free space on your computer hard drive. We just need driver CA-42 or DKU 5 Cable from this CD.

Nokia 2115i/2116 Installation Modem Driver

1. Click Start > Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options
2. Choose Modems tab and click Add…
3. Check “Dont’ detect my modem;…”
4. Choose “Have Disk…”
5. Insert file nmpCDMA2000_1x.inf when installation , click OK
6. Choose “Nokia CDMA2000 1x 3G Packet Data Modem”
7. Choose specific Port (don’t choose all ports)
8. Nokia Modem have installed on your PC

How to make new Connection ?

1. Choose Start > All Programs > Accessories > Communications > Network Connections
2. Choose File > New Connections
3. Click Next, choose “Connect to the Internet”
4. Choose “Set up My Connection manually”
5. Choose “Connect using a dial-up modem”
6. Enter your CDMA provider name as your ISP name
7. Enter #777 as dial up ISP number
8. Choose Anyone’s use… for this connection
9. Enter your provider username and password
10. Check “Add Shortcut”, click “Finish”
11. Connect to Internet using Nokia 2115i/2116 CDMA modem
